Welcome!
I am excited that you are taking the time to make sure that your child learns to swim! All children are different. But, most children learn to swim in about 10 lessons. Infants participate in a water acclimation class with me. If they are comfortable going under, I will be able progress with the lessons at a faster rate. I do not dunk children who are not ready. I also help many children through their fears of the water. All lessons are 30 minutes. Lessons are held at my home. Parents may wait in the carport or on the lower deck, just out of sight of your swimmer. Parents can hear our lesson from the carport, peek through the landscaping, or enjoy 30 minutes of peace and quiet from their car! Payment is expected at the time of the lesson. Lessons that are cancelled due to weather or illness are not subject to a cancellation fee. Please make sure your child is 24 hours symptom free before all lessons. Lesson Types
Private Lessons
Through this type of lesson, individual students have the opportunity to learn new skills and to enhance their trust and confidence in the water. Each lesson is 30 minutes.
$40/lesson

Semi Private Lessons
A 30 minute group lesson designed for two students. Students will take turns working on skills, techniques, and building confidence in the water. Students should be able to wait their turn, sitting on the top step, while I work with the other student on their turn. Due to COVID, I do not group students. Parents may choose friends they are comfortable sharing a lesson.
$70/lesson for two swimmers
$35/swimmer

Group Lesson
A 30 minute group lesson designed for three students. Students will take turns working on skills, techniques, and building confidence in the water. Students should be able to wait their turn, sitting on the top step, while I work with the other student on their turn. Due to COVID, I do not group students. Parents may choose friends they are comfortable sharing a lesson.
$100/lesson for three swimmers
$33.33/swimmer

More About Becky
Becky’s Swim School was developed as a response to a need for more swim lessons in our community. Becky managed, lifeguarded, and coached at a local pool for 21 years. She is also an award winning elementary physical education teacher with over 20 years experience and a nationally accredited adapted physical education specialist (special education PE). Her desire to see all students included in sports and recreational activities led her to develop this swim school.
